A second transnational meeting was planned to discuss the second year of the project, together with the two mobilities to be held during the year. This was hosted by the teachers at Modellschulle, Graz.
We started on Sunday at 17.30, and through a networking dinner, we discussed the program intended to be held during the year.

On Monday the Maltese teachers went to Modellschule and started the day with a meeting with the head of school. During the meeting the two educational systems were discussed. The head of school explained the way their school is managed, and that it is not focused on an exam system. They have a modular system, with a main exam at the age of 18. She also explained that a report is issued at the end of every scholastic year for every student. Should the student fail in any 2 modules, the student would have to repeat the scholastic year. Being a private school, they do not face severe disciplinary problems. The students spend all the day at school, basically from 7.45 in the morning up to 16.45. All the work is completed at school. They are totally free from assigned work at home. The parents pay for the day at school, and this includes lunch.

In the afternoon the coordinating teachers sat to discuss the 2 weeks involved in the mobility. The Austrian teachers started by discussing their program which will be held in December, with the main focus being the Christmas theme, including decorations, food, singing and the traditional Christmas markets. A day on the snowy mountains is also planned. In return, the Maltese teachers discussed the week in Malta which would be held during the first week of March. The week will include workshops such as knots and morse code, archaeological excavations, endemic flora and fauna, trekking in the Maltese Majjistral park and a taste of Gozo.

On Tuesday we started the day by discussing the logistics about transport during the two mobilities. Each partner school will help the visiting school to organize the transport during the mobility week.

Then we discussed the activities that will be organised during the second year of the project, and how they will be documented on twinspace. The activities include diversity in food, in climate and finally in the environment and living organisms. All the results will be uploaded on twinspace.

We also discussed the project's web page, and shared ideas on how to present results for the final report's purposes. We also updated the mobility tool, and discussed how to share results on the Erasmus Project Results Platform.
