Workshop :

Cooking Modern Maltese

Traditional Recipes

This workshop was organised on the 5th November 2019, and held at one of the school's Home Economics laboratories. It was conducted by Ms Nicole Kenely and Mr Michael Bianco. They assisted our students to successfully cook 3 recipes that are very popular among the Maltese. They adapted the recipes in a way that the students could actively participate and learn through making.

The following are the recipes followed by our students:

The following shows the teamwork and active participation of the Maltese students. Well done :)

Health Benefits of Ingredients

In another activity, the main ingredients included in the Maltese cuisine were researched. The students worked on a set of 14 posters, each dedicated to a specific ingredient. Each poster includes the nutritional benefits and other information about a particular ingredient. They used Piktochart to create their posters. Below you can go through the 14 created posters, together with some images that reflect our students working and using Piktochart.
